Food Shelf donations

Above, Elsa Erickson hands a donation of $50.25 to Jerry Jasmer for the Staples Area Food Shelf. Below, Elsa’s sister Emmajean gives Jasmer one of the 44 “Lou-Bean” packets that the girls make for food shelf clients. Each packet is funded by the Erickson family and includes a wash cloth, bar of soap, razor, shampoo, conditioner and sometimes mouthwash, after shave or cologne. The girls also make packets for children that include crayons, pens and colored pencils and they make pillows for children in child protection services.
