Justin Domogalla, Staples, placed second in the male group for his age bracket at the Maple Grove Dare To Tri Olympic distance triathlon Aug. 28.

His time of 2:29:15 also resulted in his placing 17 overall amongst all 167 participants.

The overall winner was Devon Palmer of St. Paul who finished the triathlon in 2:00:07

The Dare To Tri triathlon includes a .9 mile swim, 26 mile bicycle, and 6.2 mile run and is an USA Triathlon event using Olympic distances.

Domogalla is youth pastor at the Church of Christ and also a member of the Lakes Area Bike Club.
