Lakewood Health System will offer weekly Grief Support Group meetings every Tuesday, Sept. 14 through Oct. 19 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Fireside Room of the LHS Main Campus. Anyone dealing with an experience of loss - especially the loss of a loved one - is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The Grief Support Group will provide resources and mutual support to assist in navigating the grief journey. Join others for discussions centering on various aspects of the grieving process: the emotions of grief, holiday grief, coping resources, multiple losses, hope, healing, renewal and acceptance.

Sharing experiences after the death of a loved one, divorce, loss of pets, possessions and even your sense of family and faith can help lift the heavy burden of grief and bereavement.
