Railroad Days success
A recap of the events over the Railroad Days weekend shows it was a busy time. As we all k n ow, not eve r ything runs as smooth as it looks. The weather was great again. From the super com- ments we have received it seems everyone had a great time.
There are many, many people to thank for all the success stories. Too many to name in this editorial, but, these few were absolutely fantastic to work with - Jim Christoffersen from the Staples Motley School District and Nate Mathews from the City of Staples. These two groups put in many man hours to make it all possible. Joe Hassler of Twin City Optical made it very easy for us to have a great “Vendor” area. Many more unsung heros made all this work.
Last, but not least was Tom Thompson. The Second Avenue Construction General Contractor bent over backwards for us to make that street usable during our weekend. He didn’t have to stop, clean up and give his workers Friday off for us, but he graciously did it for the Railroad Days weekend. We all say, ‘Thanks, Tom, for your efforts.’
