Open house at Pillager School tonight

Pillager School will hold an Open House tonight, Sept. 2, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Students in grades k - 12 will have a chance to meet teachers and to find classrooms.

There will also be an opportunity for people to sign up for Community Ed. classes and Early Childhood programming staff will be available to answer questions and/or to register new students.

A Tailgate supper will be served near the football field from 6:30 - 7 p.m., followed by the first home football game of the season.

First day of classes at Pillager School is Tuesday, Sept. 7.

New and changing staff this fall at Pillager include the following:

o Barb Anderson, high/ middle school secretary

o Dan Devine, high school art

o Jessica Devine, middle school math

o Ryan Ihrke, high school language arts

o Erin Hepola, long-term sub for Gina Taylor

o Lexi King, kindergarten

o Jennifer Story, first grade

o Missy Koel, second grade

o Amy Hunstad, moving to fourth/fifth grade

o Andrew Stoneking, elementary music

o Sherry Anderson, early childhood/special education

o Beth Gustafson, school readiness

o Ellie Nelson, moving to Elem. Special Ed.

o Kori Longanecker, student teacher with Mrs. Kotska

o Kate Belgum, student teacher with Mrs. Cousino

o Chris Kappler, long term sub for Elementary P.E.
