Bill and Florence (Pribbenow) Berndt, rural Motley, are pictured with a genealogy display of the Berndt family that Florence has been working on. Approximately thirty family history exhibits (including this one) will be on display in the Motley Fairgrounds Pavilion this Saturday, part of “The Gathering” event hosted by the Motley Area Historical Society, in conjunction with the Morrison County Historical Society and Morrison County Genealogy Society. The Sept. 4 event includes a dedication of the old school bell; lunch; entertainment; children’s games and storytelling. (Staples World photo by Dawn Timbs)
