United Tae Kwon Do Systems of Staples under the instruction of Francisco Jimenez has announced a new affiliation with the National Tae Kwon Do Institute, Owatonna.

Jimenez also notes the promotion of the following students:

Sandy Porter from 1st Rec to 1st Dan;

Alex Jensen and Derek Mikish from green belt to purple belt;

Kari Erickson, Josey Erickson, Alex Erickson and Christian Scheler from orange belt to green belt;

Elija Sams, Sarah Carlson and Josh Carlson from yellow belt to orange belt; and

Cole Winkels from white belt to yellow belt.

Because of the affiliation of the two schools, the promotion of students will be recognized by both schools and students will received international rank recognition.

Master E. Torabpour of National Tae Kwon Do Institute holds a 6th Dan rank. He has recongnized the achievement by Jimenez with a 3rd Dan ranking and will also serve as an instructor for Jimenez.

Jimenez emphasizes that this association will not change his instruction methods or commitment to students. He chose this association because the teaching philosophy of Torabpour is similar to his own.
