CLC appoints two; registrar named
Kori Busho of Baxter has been promoted to a full-time Customized Training Representative post at Central Lakes College, Brainerd and Staples. She had been in administrative support for the department.
Carrie Ray of Brainerd
replaces the r etired
Sue Caughlin in the CLC
Financial Aid Of fice as a
full-time Customer Service
Specialist. Ray had been at
the Brainerd campus Information
Center and is a
CLC graduate.
Nick Heisserer has accepted the position of Central Lakes College Registrar and will start in the position around August 4.
He served as Assistant Director of the CLC TRiO/ Upward Bound program from 2004-2008. He also served as Interim Director of TRIO/Upward Bound during 2008-09, taught a full load of Business Management courses this past spring, and has co-led the successful non-instructional assessment initiative this year.
Heisserer holds a degree in Social Studies from Bemidji State University and a Masters in Management and Organizational Development from the College of St. Scholastica. He replaces Rick Kangas, interim registrar,who has requested a return to Counseling and other coordination and management duties upon Dean Judy Richer’s retirement.
