Diane Sauer featured at Music in the Park

Diane Sauer will present a concert in the Staples Music in the Park series on Sunday, July 25, at 7 p.m.
The concert will be held in the Northern Pacific (NP) Park located at 625 6th St. NE. If road construction is a problem exit on 4th St., proceed north to the water t ower and turn right to 6th St. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Centennial Auditorium.
Diane Sauer grew up in Staples and now lives near Lake George with her husband Mike. She has played in the house band at the Woodtick Theater in Akeley for 10 years. She performs a variety of folk, bluegrass and country music, accompanying herself on guitar, banjo and ukulele.
Sauer will be joined by Don Leet, a bass player and vocalist who lives in the Bemidji area. He sings with the Bemidji Chorale and the folk group Ruby Tuesday. Sauer and Leet are both members of the Bemidji area band, The Clean Starts.
The Music in the Park Series is funded by the Staples Host Lions Club. The series is organized by the Staples Motley Area Arts Council with the assistance of the Staples Motley Public Schools and the City of Staples.
