Burn victim to share story of hope, healing

Former skydiver Mickey Robinson of Franklin, Tennessee, will share his story of hope and healing Saturday, July 17, 7 p.m., at Centennial Auditorium in Staples.

The event is sponsored by the Staples Assembly of God Church and The Glory Barn.

According to biographical information found at his website, www.mickeyrobinson. com, “After surviving severe burns resulting from an airplane crash while skydiving, Mickey Robinson had a “Death’s Door” experience and spiritual rebirth that radically changed his life.

During the long period of time required to recover, he not only received several miraculous healings, but also struggled with finding purpose in life.

For the past 25 years, Mickey has had a public ministry speaking in churches and to various groups of people. He shares the reality of God’s power to change people’s lives. The story of his testimony, according to Robinson, imparts hope and encouragement for any person to be an overcomer.

Robinson presently serves as a Director of Prophetic Christian Ministries Association, President of the Lazarus Foundation (a care and discipleship center for the physically challenged) and Seagate Ministries, located in Franklin.
