Carol Frisk
Carol Jean Frisk of Motley, died June 29, 2010 at Bethany Good Samaritan Home in Brainerd.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2, at the Assembly of God Church in Staples. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Motley.
Arrangements are with the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home of Brainerd.
Carol was born Sept. 28, 1927 in Motley to Alfred and Gladys (Loucks) Thomson. She graduated in 1945, from Motley High School. On May 18, 1951, she married Waldo Frisk at the Motley Gospel Tabernacle. She was a homemaker, most of her life. She was a member of the Staples Assembly of God Church, where she played piano for many years and a member of Women’s Ministries. Carol was also a member of the Motley American Legion Auxiliary.
Carol is survived by one son, Bradley (Peggy) Frisk of Pillager; one daughter, Brenda (Jeffrey) Collins of Baxter; three grandchildren; step-grandchildren, one brother, Richard (Bernice) Thomson of Motley; one sister, Marlys Prindle of Staples; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
