Melanee Rae Neddo, 53, Staples, died June 13, 2010 following a long illness.

A private family service. will be held.

Arrangements are with the Bill Dare’s Funeral Home, in Elk River. Mela n e e was born May 24, 1957, in Wadena to Wi l lard and Beverly Backholm.

Melanee is survived by one son, Tyson Neddo and her mother, both of Elk River; two sisters, Reba Winter and Denise Ehrgott; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and father.
