Donald “Butch” Dumpprope, 67, of Poplar, died June 7, 2010 at home.

A memorial service was on June 10, at the Motley Free Methodist Church.

Arrangements were with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

“Butch” was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Poplar Township to Harvey and Mary Jane (Mathews) Dumpprope.

Don is survived by his wife, Darlene; two daughters, Brenda Lindberg of Staples; Melanie (Mark) Wonders of Aldrich; five grandchildren; five sisters, Maybelle Cory; June (Don) Hanson; Joyce (Robert) Daily, all of Leader; Velma (Jim) VanBlaricom of Caldwell, Idaho; Evon (Robert) Cory of Staples; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Milford, Larry, Steve and William.
