Sheryl Lynette Halvorson, 50, of Staples, died May 29, 2010 at her home. Funeral services were held June 1, at the United Methodist Church in Motley. Burial will be in Scottsdale, Ariz. at a later date. Arrangements were with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. Sheryl was born Jan. 17, 1960, in Portland, Ore. to Jack and Darlene (Reed) Kelly. In June of 2001, she married John Halvorson in Phoenix, Ariz. and they moved to Staples in 2004. Sheryl is survived by her husband, two sons, Ralph Shipman; Daniel Spradlin; two daughters, Christina Spradlin; Alicia Spradlin; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Harmon and Steve Kelly.
