The Staples Historical Society is planning their second annual “Ride The Rails To Red Wing” via Amtrak - a unique adventure.

The departure date is Saturday, Aug. 21, at 4:09 a.m. from the Staples Depot, arriving in Red Wing at 9:00 a.m., then departing Red Wing at 8:52 p.m. and arriving back in Staples at 1:42 a.m.

In Red Wing the tour group will be met by a motor coach to tour the city, including Red Wing Pottery Barn, Red Wing Pottery factory, the Sheldon Theater of Performing Arts, the Victorian St. James Hotel and shopping.

Reservations must be made by June 23, and payment of is due at the time of reservations.
