An open house honoring three people retiring from Freshwater Education District will be held Saturday, May 22, from 2-5 p.m. at the Landmark Inn, 631 3rd Ave. NE, Staples. The Landmark Inn was formerly Faith Lutheran Church.

Bruce Lund, Sue Boehland and Amy Hunter will be honored. A program will begin at 3:15 p.m.

Lund is the executive director of Freshwater Education District.

Boehland is director of Area Learning Center programs, Targetd Services, Credit Recovery and Perkins/ Career and Technical Education.

Hunter is coordinator of Gifted, Creative and Talented programs, Community Education and Drug and Violence Prevention.
