RiderCoach prep course
Six students from all over Minnesota attended a recent RiderCoach Preparation Course (for motorcyclists), held at Central Lakes College in Staples. Prior to attending this course, students first had to successfully complete the Basic Riders Course affiliated with the MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation). Bob Swenson of Staples, (pictured above, far left) was one of the students. Instructors included Jay Bock of Brainerd (fourth from left) and Peter Buenting of Duluth. Pictured below, Jim Unger, from Dakota County Tech., gets ready to go through one of the training exercises. Approximately 8,000 - 10,000 students attend this class every year; and those who pass the eight-day course are certified to be instructors for the Basic Riders Course (Staples World photos by Dawn Timbs)
