Kevin Groess, 56, of Motley, died April 21, 2010 at Lakewood Health System Hospital.

A memorial service was held April 25.

Arrangements were with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Kevin was born on June 19, 1953, in Minneapolis to Charles Sr. and Virginia (Cross) Groess He grew up in Anoka, graduating from Anoka High School in 1971. He married Diane Larsen in 1975.

He worked as an engineering tech,

moving his family

to Staples in 1994, to work for McKechnie Tooling. He loved to play tennis and was a member of the Staples Tennis and Culinary Club.

Kevin is survived by his wife, two daughters, Season and Shayla; five brothers, Chuck Jr. (Dee) and Dennis Sr. (Elaina); Glen; Jim (Judi); Steve Sr.; and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by is parents and one sister, Karen.
