Helen Holderbach
Helen Holderbach, 92, formerly of Staples, died April 10, 2010 at Harmony House in Brainerd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m, on Saturday, May 1, at the Staples United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Horn officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.
Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home in Baxter.
Helen was born Dec. 27, 1917 in Wadena, to Roy and Ella (Chase) Zosel. After graduating from high school, Helen married Carl Holderbach in 1937. She enjoyed art work, ceramics, sewing, baking, fishing and playing bingo. She was an active member of Staples United Methodist Church.
Helen is survived by five daughters, Judy (Ron) Gustafson, of Vancouver, Wash.; Patricia (John) Mathews, of East Gull Lake; Jeanne (Mick) Qualen, of Nisswa; Barbara (Stephen) Praus, of Loretto; Cindy (Tom) Zulkosky, of Delano; one daughterin law, Judy Holderbach, of Stillwater; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth McKellep, of Wadena.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Michael; one grandson; parents; three sisters, Beth, Joyce and Donna; and one brother, Bill.
