Lions donation


Staples Host Lions President Keith Porter (right) presented Huck Holst with a check for $1,315 for the Staples Veterans Memorial Park. The Lions’ funds were initially a donation from the Fritz and Rose Hoemberg family. The money was the memorial money given at the time of Fritz’s death in January, 2009. The Lions in turn decided to give the money to the veterans park project in Fritz’s memory.
