Jam session Fiddlers of all ages will join forces at the close of the Fiddlers Contest in Pillager this Saturday, to perform a few favorite fiddle tunes. The contest begins at 7 p.m., but the Jeff LaSart family from Deerwood will perform pre-contest music beginning at 5 p.m. (Staples World archive photo by Dawn Timbs) The 26th Annual Fiddler’s Contest in Pillager will be held Saturday, April 10, at the Pillager High School gym beginning at 7 p.m.

Fiddlers of all ages will be performing a variety of fiddle tunes, competing for prizes and entertaining an anticipated full-house of bluegrass and country music fans.

Come early and enjoy the music of the Jeff LaSart family from Deerwood, back by popular demand. The LaSarts will perform from 5 - 7 p.m.
