Ann Reed, Dan Chouinard to perform in Pillager April 17

Dinner theatre event sponsored by Pillager Dollars for Scholars

Ann Reed Ann Reed Pillager Dollars for Scholars will hold its 2010 Spring Dinner Theatre Saturday, April 17, at the Pillager High School Theatre, beginning at 6 p.m.

This event will feature the music of singersongwriter Ann Reed; and pianist Dan Chouinard, both of Minnesota. The dinner will be a ‘Four Course Kav anaugh Classic,” by chef Tom Kavanaugh.

Ann Reed (known for her rich alto voice, smooth guitar licks and sly wit) has spent more than 25 years writing songs and making music. She has performed on Good Morning America, A Prairie Home Companion and Minnesota Public Radio’s Morning Show.

Pianist, accordionist and occasional storyteller Dan Chouinard grew up in a musical family in Lindstrom. He tours and records regularly with an ever-expanding roster of musicians and writers.

At least four Pillager students will join Chouinard on stage at the dinner theatre event. Chanel Fitch, a sophomore, will be singing the Patsy Cline classic “Crazy;” and seniors Matt Nelson, Dalton McClain and Dan Kozitza will be singing, “I’ll Not be the One,” by Paisley Cloud. In additiontothese student vocals, freshman Hannah Gaalswyk and junior Kassi Kavanaugh will both play the piano during dinner and intermission.

Dan Chouinard Dan Chouinard Funds raised go towards scholarships for 2010 PHS graduates.
