New painting


Local artist David Rickert had some of his paintings on display in the lobby of Centennial Auditorium in Staples, during the Robert Robinson concert March 21. The painting, “Spring 2,” was featured on the cover of the recent “Lake Country Journal” magazine. Rickert owns David’s Art Gallery in Staples (located at 10th Street NE and Old Hwy 10), which opens for the season May 1.
