Robert “Bob” Shebeck, 60, of Minnetonka, died Feb. 26, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park.

Funeral services were held March 4, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Hopkins. Burial was at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Bob was born June 2, 1949 in Wausau, Wisc. to Harold and Ethel (Aspen) Shebeck. In 1952 they moved to Richfield. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1971 receiving his Master’s degree from the IR School, U of M, in 1973.

He was married for almost 34 years to LaRee Erbe, a 1963 graduate of Staples High School.

Bob worked in various positions for Control Data, Toro, Medtronic and ended his career as general director, Pensions and Benefits, at Supervalu. He was an active member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, as well as other professional groups.

Bob is survived by his wife; one son, Patrick and one daughter Amy, both of Chicago; one sister, Karen (Craig) Allard, of Woodbury; one sister-in-law Marge (Frank) Moriarity of St Bonifacius; one sister in-law, Gale (Gordon) of Pillager; and one brotherin law, Lynn (DaySey) Erbe of Lincoln, Neb.

He was preceded in life by his parents.
