 Kay Sellnow, 79 of North Branch, died March 17, 2010 at Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 3 p.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch. Organist will be Debra Aulich and soloist is Jon Ekstrom.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Monday. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Staples.

Kay was born on Nov. 4, 1930 in Staples, to William and Desi (Ringler) Taylor. She grew up and attended school in Staples.  She worked in Minneapolis before she married Ray Sellnow on Jan. 25, 1958 at the Congregational Church in Staples. Kay and Ray moved to North Branch in 1958, Kay worked at the Leader Dept. Store and the Tana Clothing store in Cambridge. She also worked part time at the Variety Store in North Branch. 

She loved to read, do embroidery, shopping, camping with family and going to the Casino. Kay was a member of the North Branch Legion Auxillary and Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch.

Kay is survived by her husband; three daughters, Jackie (David) Stein of Lindstrom; Linda (Ron) Radika of Rice; Patti (Jim) Kovarik of North Branch; one son, Michael (Janine) Sellnow of North Branch; three sisters, Donna (Ken) Hales of Staples; Mary (Dick) Goff of Brownsville, Texas; Pat (Del) Horn of Hewitt; brother, Bill (Eve) Taylor of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven sisters.
