At work at the depot

Volunteer Bruce Nelsen has been working the past several weeks in the former ticket office at the Northern Pacific depot. He is renovating the walls and ceilings, which had water damage last summer, in preparation for eventually using the room for an office, either as a rental or for the Staples Historical Society. There are also plans being made to repair and replace the ceiling in the main lobby of the depot this summer. (Staples World photo by Tom Crawford)
