BECKI DEGEEST, Student at Staples Motley High School, has been accepted to Minnesota State University Moorhead. Becki is the daughter of Doug and Elaine DeGeest. She plans to major in music industry.

MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY MOORHEAD, has announced its 2009 fall semester dean’s honor list. To qualify, students must maintain a 3.25 grade point average and carry 12 graded credits. Local students named include:
