At their regular meeting March 9, the Motley City Council approved the 2010 fee schedule (with slight amendments) as presented.

Of note is a $50 per hour fee for mowing, with a twohour minimum; and a $50 per load fee for pool fills, plus water charges. Fuel charges would also be applied if the pool is located over five miles from city hall.

Water fees

o Residential water fee (first 1,000 gallons - minimum) is $12.50 per month; and $1.05 per month for water per 100 gallons (from 1,001 - 2,000 gallons)

o Commercial water fees begin at $21 per month for a less than one-inch line (first 2,000 gallons - minimum); and $36.17 per month for a greater than one-inch line (first 2,000 gallons - minimum), with the following additional charges per month:

Water per 100 gal from

2,001 - 16,700 gal, $0.35; water

per 100 gal from 16,701 - 1000,000 gal, $0.33; and water

per 100 gal over 100,001 gal, $0.29.

o Industrial water fee is $89.73 per month, plus the same additional charges listed above.

Sewer fees

o Residential sewer fee (first 2,000 gallons - minimum) is $16.20 per month. Over 2,000 gallons, sewer per 100 gallons is $0.48 per month.

o Industrial sewer fee, per 100 gallons, is $0.48 per month.

o Sewer without water hookup is $30 per month.

Recycling/solid

waste

o Recycling fee is $2 per month

o Solid waste fees per month - 32 gallon container is $10.35; 65 gallon container is $13.05; 95 gallon container is $18.45; and seasonal secondary charges are $6.30 per month.
