Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. the Todd County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the Commissioners Board Room, Main Street Gov’t Center, 347 Central Ave, Long Prairie, Minnesota to consider the following applications:

Variance to replace the existing 12x55 ft trailer home and 8x8 ft deck with a 12x38 ft trailer and 6x8 ft deck in the same location. Deck is 62 ft from the lake, trailer 68 feet from the lake. Required setback is 100 feet.
John C Provinzino: Big Birch Lake - Harcora Lodge First Add, Lots 15 & 16, Block 2, Section 25, Birchdale Township.
Variance to replace the existing deck with a larger deck 37 feet from the lake and to add a 24x26 ft addition to the backside of the cabin 69 feet from the lake. Building setback is 100 feet, shore impact zone is 50 feet.
Johanna Patch: Big Birch Lake, Cedar Beach - part of Lot 10 W of line 33 ft E & parallel to W line of Lot 10 & all of Lot 11, Section 30, Grey Eagle Township.
Variance to build a 24x26 ft single story cabin 60 feet from the lake instead of the required 100 feet. Preliminary plans submitted for sewer system.
Keith and Jean Sjurseth: Sauk Lake - Lot 1, Block One of Adam’s Place part of Lot 1, Section 11, Kandota Township.
Variance to construct an 8x28 ft open deck to the east side of house (lakeside) to be 68 feet from the lake instead of the required 100 feet. In 2005 a variance was granted for an 8x16 ft deck but was never constructed. Length of deck is needed because of the two patio doors.
Patricia Dirkes and Mary Bick: Fairy Lake - Perkinson’s Subdivision, E 2 of Lot 3, Section 20, Kandota Township.
Variance to remove the flat roof of the existing 32x32 ft cabin and replace with a pitched roof. Cabin is 55 feet from the lake and 4 feet from side property line. Required setback is 150 feet from the lake and 10 feet from side property line.
Randall and Kathleen Dwelly: Maple Lake - (.23 acres) W 66 ft of N 150 ft of Gov’t Lot 2 E of Maple Shelter, Section 18, Little Sauk Township.
After the Fact Variance for the 32x26 ft (832 sq ft) single story cabin built which replaced an existing 20x32 ft (640 sq ft) cabin. Cabin is 73 feet from the lake instead of the required 100 feet. Preliminary design submitted to install a sewer system which shows system can meet setback requirements.
