Tragedy in Motley

Jesse Himsl A 27-year-old man from Avon died March 5, after a flatbed trailer he was working under fell onto his chest, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department reported.

The accident happened at Big Boyz Truck and Tire in Motley at approximately 2 p.m. The victim, Jesse Himsl, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the sheriff’s department report, a jack holding up the trailer broke; and the trailer fell on Himsl’s chest.

Himsl was born April 5, 1982, in St. Cloud, to Steve and Pam (Pogatchnik) Himsl. He graduated from Albany High School in 2000.

The incident is under investigation. A funeral service for Himsl was held March 10, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon.
