Virginia Reger, 70, of Staples, died on Feb. 26, 2010, at the Lakewood Health System in Staples.

Funeral services were held March 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Fr. Ron Schmelzer officiating. Burial will be at St. Isidore’s Catholic Cemetery, Moran Township, Todd County.

Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville.

Virginia “Ginna” was born Nov. 6, 1939 in Staples, to John and Veronica Kempe Warner. She married Kenneth Reger on June 9, 1956 at St. Isidore’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, trips to the casino, coffee with friends, lunches at the sales barn and especially spending time with her family.

Ginna is survived by two sons, Douglas and Gary; two daughters, Pam and Karen; six sisters, Mary (Ray) Heaser; Rose Zetah; Bernie (George) Durbin; Dolores (Jerry) Kurpius; Audrey (Bob) Goligowski; and Bonita (Delbert) Hansen.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, parents, one brother, John; one brother-in-law, and three sisters-in-law.
