Joyce Elene Ingebritson, 83, of Staples, died Feb. 24, 2010, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral services were held March 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery at Staples in the spring.

Arrangements were with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Joyce was born June 6, 1926, in Staples to Robert and Mary (Robertson) Nurnberger. She graduated from Staples High School. On April 22, 1946, she married Orville Ingebritson in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, it’s circle, church choir and volunteered where needed and the Rocking S Saddle Club of Staples. She enjoyed gardening and canning.

Joyce is survived by two sons, Gary of Oak Grove; Gene (Tes) of Staples; four grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, three sisters, Marlys “Mac” Swanson of Ariz.; Ardis Luconic of Merrifield; LoAnn Wilhemson of Motley; three brothers, Robert Nurnberger of Staples; Jim Nurnberger of Anoka; and Jerome Nurnberger of Grand Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 2008.
