Deputies report one-car rollover

Wadena County Sheriff’s Deputies, while on snowmobile patrol on Saturday Feb. 27, came upon a one vehicle roll-over accident on 330th Street in Red Eye Township in Wadena County.

Deputies came upon the accident at approximately 11:11 a.m. and provided care to the driver until First Responders and ambulance crew arrived on scene.

The driver, who was ejected from her vehicle, was identified as Dorie Pluth, 44, of Wadena.

Pluth, a former Staples resident, was working as a rural mail carrier at the time of the rollover. Pluth was transported to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena and later air lifted to Hennepin County Medical Center.

Wadena County Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted on scene by Sebeka Fire and Rescue and also Tri-County Ambulance service.
