Speech Team award -winners in the Osakis
Speech Tournament Feb. 27.
Jonathan Nypan in Extemporaneous Reading, Kaytlin Roth in Prose and Brianna Miles in Storytelling earned second place medals.
Other top-five performers in their categories were Tera Weyer, fourth in Humor, Sierra DeGeest, fifth in Drama and Alek Paskewitz, fifth in Humor.
Kali Klimek in Drama, Emily Ladd in Prose, Beth Hoyt in Extemporaneous Reading and Paige Becker in Humor earned blue ribbons for superior performances.
Red ribbons for excellent performances went to Samantha Weyer in Informative Speaking and Janelle Jennissen and Patrick Winter in Prose.
The Cardinal team is preparing for its most challenging meet of the season, the WHA Invitational Speech Tournament in Walker on March 6.
