Music, games and hot drinks are the antidote to Cabin Fever Sunday, Mar. 7, from 2-5 p.m. at the depot in downtown Staples. The Staples Historical Society is celebrating 100 years of the Staples Northern Pacific Depot with Cabin Fever Day. Activities will include music and stories by The Cabin People. Family photos can also be taken with The Cabin People. Children’s games and crafts will be available. Free will donations will be accepted for hot cider, hot chocolate, coffee and cookies. Proceeds from these donations as well as a bake sale and silent auction will go toward expenses to renovate the depot.
