Sherry Yvonne Stoderl, 67, of Bertha, died Feb. 19, 2010 at Tri-County Hospital in Wadena.

Funeral services were held Feb. 23, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bertha with Fr. Dan Walz officiating. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery in Wadena.

Arrangements were with the Domian-Anderson Funeral Home of Bertha.

Sherry was born April 27, 1942, to Wilfred and Muriel (Benson) Fitzer at Park Rapids. She graduated from nursing school and worked as a nurse in Massachusetts and California. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. On Sept. 9, 1995 she married Joseph Stoderl. Sherry spent her last five years at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples.

Sherry is survived by her husband, three sons, David and Scott both of Boston; Daniel of San Francisco; one daughter, Melissa of Boston; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mary Ann Austad of Ariz.; and Penny Cleary of Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
