Bring your skis, your snowshoes, your fishing rod. The Snowball Express is heading for Dower Lake this Saturday.

The winter festival is set for Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Staples Motley Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Staples Business Group.

Fun and free activities for all ages will be offered throughout the day. Events include:

o Ice cube treasure hunt o Ice fishing contest o Slippery tug-of-war o Snowman building contest

o Kids sliding hill

In addition, trails will be groomed for skiing and snowshoeing.

The public is reminded to bring their own equipment.

Food and vendors will be on site including the Stomping Grounds Coffee House and the Staples Volunteer Fire Department.

Evening specials are also being arranged at participating area restaurants and bars.
