The LP-GE-WDC Blue Devils girls hockey squad downed Pequot Lakes Feb. 4 by a 3-2 score in overtime.

Leah Dykhoff scored on a rebound in to give the Blue Devils their 3-2 win to even the season series.

Going into the contest, the Patriots had lost seven straight since defeating the Blue Devils 3-1 on Dec. 22.

Also scoring for the Blue Devils were Kylee Damm and Samantha Holweger. Samantha Killian got an assist on Damm’s first period goal, with Brooke Umland and Dykhoff getting assists on Holweger’s second period goal.

Eighth grade goalie Sarah Holm had 22 saves for the Blue Devils. The win gave the Blue Devils a record of 2 wins and 11 losses with two more games on their regular season schedule
