Discussions about Morrison County history planned in LF

The time of European/ American settlement of Morrison County was not for the faint of heart. County and city governments were being organized and infrastructure (schools, houses, roads, businesses, etc.) was being built.

People moved to the county for the entrepreneurial opportunities they thought the area offered. Have you ever wondered why particular settlers chose Morrison County as home? What specific opportunities and resources drew them here?

Jan Warner, Executive Director of the Morrison County Historical Society, will be leading a series of informal discussions about the county’s pioneering spirit of enterprise.

“Conversations with Jan” will take place at 2 p.m. for the remaining Tuesdays in February (16 and 23) at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. Admission is free. The public is invited to attend.
