School payment delay sets bad precedent
      Minnesota Management and Budget, formerly the Department of Finance, announced on Jan. 26 that the state will hold back school aid payments in order to pay the state’s bills this spring.

2010 Session preview
      In these last few days before the start of the 2010 Minnesota Legislative Session, I just wanted to update you on some of the issues we will be dealing with this session.
