•February, “We Love to Read Month” special events:

•“DEAR” time (“drop everything and read”) Tuesdays, from 10:15 a.m.-10:25 a.m.: “Mystery Readers” will read to students on Wednesdays.

•12th annual Read-AThon, Feb. 1-19 - goal at SES this year is to spend 2,000 hours reading. Students are encouraged to read each night and record their minutes - if students meet their goal, SES/MES Principal Jason Luksik will wear the Cardinal mascot outfit on Feb. 26 to greet students as they come to school; more activities.
