In an article about Motley Police Chief Brian Madison, published in last week’s Staples World, comments attributed to Chief Madison (in regard to physical altercations that can occur after an officer makes an arrest) did not accurately reflect his viewpoints.

be beaten on. We restrain and sometimes with force to gain compliance from people. We are not beating on people.”
