Online ticketing J The Staples Area Men’s Chorus has a new option in concert information and ticket purchasing.

Online ticket purchasing was first offered for the Staples Community Christmas Concert and chorus webmaster and treasurer Jürgen Brunkhorst reported that online ticket sales exceeded his original expectations.

Brunkhorst is anticipating even more robust online purchasing for The Big Sing, a choral extravaganza hosted by the Staples Area Men’s Chorus and billed as “the choral event of the decade.” The concert will be at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 17.

Anyone wishing to purchase concert tickets online may go to www.staplesmen. tix.com. The website provides a map of the concert venue where all seats will be numbered and reserved.

Two options for purchasing tickets are offered. The purchaser may “click on section and select seats,” or by choosing “best available seating” selection will be done automatically. After adding selected tickets to your shopping cart, billing information will be taken and the process is complete.

Since an audience of several hundred is anticipated for The Big Sing, the Staples Area Men’s Chorus encourages the public to purchase tickets early. Over 300 singers and 11 male choruses are expected to participate in The Big Sing.
