Members of the Motley Fairboard attended the annual Minnesota State Fair Convention in Bloomington Jan. 15.

Fairboard members attending included Don Aderman, Ron Aderman, Christine Esterl and Rita Esterl.

The convention offered many information sessions with ideas and plans for the 2010 county fairs.

Plans are already underway for the Motley Fair, scheduled for June 25 - 27; as well as for the annual spring demo derby at the fairgrounds.

At the convention, Don and Ron attended sessions that included a discussion of standardization of rules for demo derbies. Rita and Christine attended sessions on exhibits, grandstand shows and entertainment. Ideas from other county fairs was also available.
