Shelby Nokken Pillager High School students Shelby Nokken, Emily Doss and Rian Hutchison have been named recipients of awards from the MN State High School League for 2010.

Shelby, daughter of Brent and Sherry Kramer, is PHS’s 2010 Triple A Award winner. This award, sponsored by the MSHSL, recognizes high school seniors that have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field and in fine arts.

Emily, daughter of Scott and Betty Doss; and Rian, son of Jim and Ann Hutchison, are this year’s MSHSL’s 12th annual Ex- CEL Award winners at PHS.

ExCEL stands for Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership. The program is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, who show leadership qualities and who are model citizens.
