The Staples Motley School Board will meet Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 6:45 p.m. at the high school media center.

Tentative agenda items include:

o Oath of office for reelected and newly elected board members.

o Reorganizational items including elect board chair and other officers and appoint members to committees.

o School/community forum if presenter has contacted the board chair or superintendent by noon the day of the meeting regarding the topic.

o Finance items: committee report, resolution for reductions in programs and positions, set board salary, facilities committee report and approval to seek bids for facility items.

o Personnel items including approve Lisa Kruchten as communications coordinator at 16 hrs./wk.

o Other items including set date for joint meeting with SM Education Association Executive Committee and Lynn Nordgren, President of Minneapolis Federation of Teachers.

o Reports: building principals, middle school dean of students, high school dean of students and activities director, buildings and grounds supervisor, superintendent and school board committees.
