Workers for the M. G. Carlson Construction Co. of Brainerd worked on replacing shingles on the roof of the Staples Northern Pacific depot building in August. The building’s roof, fascia and soffits were repaired or replaced in a major historical mitigation project funded by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
