Staples Motley High School students filled and hauled sand bags at the Dale and Deb Hausmann home north of Staples and near the Crow Wing River. Their efforts in early April kept the Hausmann home from getting a flooded basement. (Staples World photo by Dawn Schimpp-Timbs)
