Madhatters Community Theatre will hold auditions for the first Madhatter Lab production at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, and at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 3, at the Rex McDonald Studio on Main St. S. in Wadena.

This new production will be "girl." by Megan Mostyn-Brown. The show includes three one-act plays depicting what it's like to be a girl in this day and age. It will touch on hard topics like drug addiction, suicide, self mutilation, run-aways, young love and unexpected pregnancy while dealing with the added stress of the expectations of family and society.

The cast includes three girls with character ages of 15, 17 and 23; one boy with a character age of 17 and one woman in her early 30's.
