Gary A. Truesdell, 49, of Staples, died Oct. 8, 2009 at the Lakewood Health System Hospital, Staples.

Funeral services were held Oct. 12, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples. Burial was in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Arrangements were with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.

Gary was born on Aug. 19, 1960, in Bertha to Kenneth and Joan Truesdell. He went to school in Minneapolis and worked for many years until becoming disabled. He moved to Fawn Lake in 2003. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling and snowmobiling.

Gary is survived by his father and two brothers, David and Michael.

He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents.
